Wursthaus Schmitz, an extension of the venerable South Street beer hall and  restaurant Brauhaus Schmitz, is a German delikatessen and sausage  sandwich stall at the Reading Terminal Market. Like its South Street  flagship, Brauhaus Schmitz, the stand serves Chef Jeremy Nolen’s regionally  inspired traditional and modern German food. Part delikatessen and part  sandwich shop, Wursthaus Schmitz fetaures the best of Germany’s imports  including mus- tards, vinegars, chocolates, rye bread, and sauces as well as  a full spread of hot sausage and schnit- zel sandwiches, platters, cold  sandwiches, and fresh cut French fries. In addition to the hot offerings,  Wursthaus sells house made bratwurst, bauernwurst, Hungarian bratwurst,  and tradi- tional German side dishes such as potato salad, sauerkraut,  cucumber salad, and red cabbage.
